Authorised financial services provider, licence no. 43847.
BSC assists clients with working capital funding solutions for the ownership, acquisition or development of cash generating assets. As business owners ourselves, we understand the difficulties of running a business. Most of us will experience a cash flow challenge at some point causing us to miss out on an opportunity or adding pressure to our business. BSC will advance a cash lump sum based on your sales or services and outstanding invoices. We offer SME’s that supply goods and services to large corporates with invoice financing and other working capital finance facilities, from R250,000 to R5 million.
BSC, in a joint initiative with Prescient Securities, has established a platform for the origination and placement of unsecured corporate debt. The focus is on short-and long-term debt issued by listed corporates. This platform provides corporates with the ability to broaden their access to debt funding beyond the traditional banking sector to the large pools of capital managed by institutions such as pension funds, asset managers and life insurers, without the onerous requirements of listing corporate paper. Institutional funders, in turn, get access to a wider diversity of credit assets and the potential to obtain enhanced returns.
Depending on our corporate clients’ preferences we place the debt either through a limited private placement or via a traditional auction process.
This initiative is in keeping with the economic and regulatory impetus for some lending business to shift from the banks, facing increasingly onerous regulatory capital requirements, to the institutions with a broadened scope to invest in credit assets due to the relaxation of certain prudential investment guidelines.
